Yew, I agree with you, the photo against the black is definitely the best presentation. The other photo has the poor thing looking as though it is getting a mug shot taken. When looking prior to posting, it [I]was[I] a bit difficult to choose between the two.
The first background allows the hairs to be seen. The second allows the brighter colors of the flower to "pop" more. While I prefer dark background by far, I suspect flower colors showing in the first pic are probably more accurate, yes?
