    There are way too many look alike hybrids in this category and too many miss-labelled plant photographs on the internet to be certain. It sure does look like my Paphiopedilum transval.

    I'm just stuck on the concept of someone getting tired of it and getting rid of it. Doesn't compute. Lucky Paph to have found you, though!

    To me, its either a Transvaal or Vanguard, matters little, depends on the correct ID of one parent or a P. Transdoll = liemianum x roth'. These have produced plants growth & flower color very much like yours.
