Default Gift Paph but no ID

Received this today from a friend who had received it as a gift. Fortunately they are not into orchids and had grown tired of this one. It had two additional blooms that had fallen off and it still has a bud or two to open. It was a named paph according to my friend but she discarded the name tag because she did not like the way it looked while she was displaying it in her home. I love this one and am hoping someone can ID it. It has three strong new growths coming plus what looks like another mature unbloomed growth.

Possibly Paph Vanguard, and a very good one. Impossible to be sure as there are several similar hybrids registered, and probably unregistered too.

Thanks Kirk. Checking pics of Paph Vanguard it possibly could be what I was gifted with. No matter what it is I like it and am glad it has found a good home---mine. LOL

Beautiful multifloral, Bill - what a fabulous gift! Possibly Paph Vanguard, but the petals appear to have more striation than Vanguard, looking a little more like Paph. Berenice, but the color is not Berenice - it's more like a lowii in color, but the petal shape is far more like, for instance, a rothschildianum. From the color and shape of the pouch, it could have glaucophyllum in it. Not very definitive, but fun to puzzle out. I'll lok a bit more through my slipper books.

Very beautiful. Can't ID it but I think it shows a lot of Paph chamberlainianum in its makeup.
