    Stunning wallisii, Magnus. In my experience, phrags can take up to 2 months to unfurl completely, especiallly when growing a sturdy, significant stem, like this one. Well done bringing it back from hypothermia!

    Wow Magnus. I am jealous. I have a Tall Tails that has kept me waiting for over a year for a spike and so far it is just growing more leaves. I hope that I get something as impressive as this when it finally does bloom. I also have a Paul Eugene Conroy in much the same state but no spike on either. Maybe I should just have gone for a wallisii.

    The flowers are now fully opened, or the longest petals have stopped growing at about 53 cm (21'')!
