Beautiful phrag cross, Kathi. Congratulations - especially on the plant itself - sometimes the older growths look terrible by the time the first spike blooms, but this was a seedling, was it not?

I've had a number of phrags crossed with longifolium 'Gracile' to make smaller-sized editions of some hybrids. Can you pm me with the name of the nursery? I'd be interested to know who else is breeding these.

Thanks all. Maura, yes it was a small plant when i got it 18 mo. Ago, and this is its first time to bloom.
I am not too familiar with sequential blooming slippers, and was delighted to come home and find a sixth bud on it. I thought it was done when #2 & #3 opened (that's when I took the pix) and again when the last 2 opened. Hoe delightful to find new buds unexpectedly. I am liking this one!

Just an update. This orchid began blooming around July 1. Its now on bloom 9, with 10 about to open...each time I think it is done, another bloom appears. Since this is my first phrag, I had no idea that "sequential bloom" could go on like this!
