    Default Paph Honey

The cross is P.primulinum x P.philipinensis - so the flowers are not quite as good as one might have hoped from that combination ; but these things flower for months on end, and can have 3 or 4 flowers on the spike. I raised a flask of 25 plants, maybe 25 years ago , and every last one of them was identical. This is one of the few I have left ( having reaped my original investment 10 times over selling the others ). What may be called a throughly reliable hybrid.

Beautiful, Geoff, although I can see that the cross was not as succcessful as expected. All the same, it is inspiring to know that you raised 25 of them from a flask!

I have a Paph. Honey, little more than a seedling's first bloom, that was made with P. primulinum alba. I think the colors were a bit more intense on this one.

Thank you, Geoff!. It was bred by a very good orchid grower in Florida.

Very nice, I wouldn't have expected anything more from it, the primulinum is very strong. I like it very much.
