    Default paph transdoll

I'm posting this for this plants determination to bloom, not my growing skills. It started to bud when TS Issacc came through, I grow my paphs outside, so it took the storm. The bougainvillea that shades it had to be cut after the storm, so I was shading it with the palm you see in background, we had another bad storm that blew the palm over right on top of the paph, plant and spike were still okay. We have had so much rain this year I can't remember the last time I actually watered any of my paphs, expected them to be mush, but all doing okay and pushing out new growth. There is one more bud to open, which is hidden in my photos. This is one determined plant.Name: paph transdoll (Copy).jpg

So this one has nine lives?? Very nice and it's a pretty thing! Sometimes orchids can suprise you with their ability to cope. One of the oncidiums I had to rescue from the side of the house after one of those storms is throwing up two spikes. It was out of pot...and every ounce of potting material had been sucked off the roots. I in no way expected that one to survive let alone bloom...probably about as much as you expected yours to bloom. lol Other times you look at the darn things wrong and they die...

Tough bugger! Even the foliage survived rather unscaved! Seriously cool flower, should be renamed Bastets scepter or effigy
