A newly opened flower, looking at its best - in a few days the dorsal sepal will arch forwardly over the pouch, and reflex a bit, to provide a rain gutter ; its job is to keep rain out of the pouch, and it needs to bend that way, for that purpose. Such a pity - from the orchidists point of view ! But quite natural of course.
I have a couple of this species in very early bud, from one flask which I deflasked in Dec 09- I reckon three years to flower from flask is not bad for any paph - few are quicker - most are slower (here in UK) - the other 20 or so from the flask have yet to do their stuff. Whatever - an interesting point is that one of my two has been grown fairly conventionally ( in bark or CHS with added Perlite and charcoal) ; the other has been in S/H using Perlag (expanded, baked, clay pellets), and both are flowering together. It will be interesting for me to see if there is any difference in flower quality too.
If they aree as good as this, I will be a happy paph grower.

Thank you. The plant is grown on a substrate mixture of bark (seedling grade), charcoal, and perlite on equal parts. The flower is 4 or 5 days old when the picture was taken. It is a very easy species to grow. This was a two growth plant on October last year. It is now a 7 growth plant.
