    Default Paphiopedilum hookerae from Borneo

    This was the only blooming lady slipper I saw from my Borneo trip. Most lady slippers bloom in spring, but this one could bloom any time of the year.

    There are several plants along the trail, but only one blooming. The plant picture below is not the same plant with flower.

    Liz you are considered very lucky to see this slipper in bloom in the wild I love it so much very beautiful unfortunately cant bloom at low land great photos.
