Default Phragmipedium warscewiczianum bloom slowly opening

I bought this orchid a year ago and broke the bloom stalk on the way home with it. This year I have two bloom spikes and one new growth. Here's some pics of the first boom opening over 5 days.

From what I've ready the whiskers on this keep growing until their ends rub on something. Ants then crawl up the whiskers and potentially pollinate the blooms. It's a huge bloom!

I'm actually not positive on the species and genus.
