    Cool Paph. Amelia

The new spike has finally bloomed. It took it's sweet time and I am anxiously watching to see if the other spike will decide to bloom as well. I love my little fuzzy guy....

Is this possibly Paph. Amelia Hart Alexander? (primulinum x chamberlainianum)
That's the only registered Paph. with Amelia in the name that fits..

It's beautiful Connie! I love it. I checked the Orchid Register and found a number of Amelia++ . From your 'litttle fuzzy guy' description, could this be Paph Amelia Hart Alexander = primulinum x chamberlainuanum, I wonder? I'm trying to look for primulinum crosses as I love the 'little guy'. I hope my primulinum will bloom in the very near future.

Yes, it is Amelia Hart Alexander. I have posted it in the past as well, which is why I used the shorter version. Sorry... This one has been blooming for a long time....and when it was given to me I told Jo it would die. I guess it turns out she was right and it made it after all. lol I have killed every other paph and phrag I have tried to grow. Don't tell fuzzy....

If I don't kill it first. The poor thing got knocked over again last week. The flower broke off, but now I have two buds developing together. Fuzzy is one hardy little thing to survive my care.
