    Talking Phrag Living Fire a bit past prime

    Since I was taking photos, I shot this little phrag. I love the color of the bloom, but he has some heat damage. I look forward to that next bud opening up. Maybe he will look a little better.

    beautiful color, if you want to see heat damage come to Florida, don't grow these but always love seeing one posted

    You should get one, Ed. I bet they would love Florida. I grow my phrags like this one on the warm end of the greenhouse. I usually give them more water, but have been pretty swamped until recently. I'll do better now through August.

    Beautiful! I've been thinking about trying to grow a pharg.. Those new hybrids from Phrag. besseae and Pharg. kovachii look really interesting.
