Thank you! I actually used the avaiable natural light from the south-facing window, together with a white diffuser-panel over the setting, and a gold diffuser-panel to block the direct light coming in from the window. At peak, she was pure white, with only the darkest of raspberry color inside the lip.

Lynleigh Koopowitz is a primary hybrid of two parvisepalum paphs - paph. delenatii, and paph malipoense. I have had several of this hybrid and killed about 4 before I got the hang of growing paphs (they are NOT all alike in their preferences). Taste is certainly intensely personal, and I have a fairly small list of those I really love. I still think Paph. lowii is the most beautiful of all.

Very nice Maura and excellent photography. I agree with you that the Paph. lowii is very, very beautiful. I haven't got it, but might try to get one.

Thank you. You know, I've had several Lynleigh Koopowitz plants and have never been able to detect a scent on any of them. Nor have I detected any scents on my P. delenatiis - is there a time of day when they are more fragrant?

Dear Maura Mine scents like raspberries with cream It sounds odd but even my 12 year old son could identify the scent
It scents not only at night but rather continuos
I add a picture of mine which shows it is similar to yours
