Very nice. Just wondering are PK hybrids flower long lasting? or pretty much the same as typical besseae's crosses...
I have had several different P. kovachii hybrids and have found hem to be relatively inconsistsnt in terms of their durability. So much depends upon the environment in which it finds itself, but I would venture the opinion that primary crosses tend to be more delicate, particularly when the other species is known for its short blooming life. Note that my Phrag. here is not a primary cross - it is crossed with P. Eric Young, itself a primary cross.
In general, I have found Phrags of any kind to be among the most difficult and finicky orchids I have encountered - if only they weren't so intoxicatingly beautiful!!!
Hey congrats on the 84 points Mauraec . I personally have never entered any of my plants for judging since I didn't belong to our local orchid society. I'm curious as to what happens at a judging can you or anyone else tell me ? Also , I'm assuming 84 points is good right ?
