Paph (Pulsar x Black Cherry) '#1' X Paph. fairrieanum 'Super Red'
I'mmmmmm back...
A bad sinus infection (time off work) and lots of spiking orchids have lured me back to the forum after a six-month hiatus. Sorry all! Didn't abandon you - just got swallowed up in work after my knees were a-ok (100% now!)
Was perusing the recent posts today and I saw a spate of vini paph pics, and want to throw mine in as well. This was an RVO purchase from about a year ago. Wasn't in bloom or spike at the time. This was my first bloom, plant's second. The flower just dropped last month after a good 2+ month bloom.
It's not the best shot - just a quick snap. I didn't get under it enough to capture the evident fairrieanum dorsal, but it's there! Another wonderful orchid from RVO.

Hey there, Tim-o!
It was great reading your posts today. I'm truly glad the forum's as happily twisted as ever... But I detect a loss of Louis' sick humor. Quite a loss!
I thought of you this summer - I bought a small crop (more than I have room for) of great bearded iris, from the pre-eminent US source. Am waiting anxiously for next Jun/Jul to see their huge, gorgeous blooms. (I knew you'd care!)
Wahoo!

Gin is actually to blame...
(They send her out as a spy bot to sense what long-dead members might be haunting the RVO forum...)
She caught me skulking around on the site (honest, I wasn't on for more than a couple of minutes) in mid-December. She confronted me (in her frighteningly friendly way) in a PM that I saw this morning as I came back for another skulk...thus, I'm now out of the closet.
Thanks Gin - it was nice of you to msg!

Well, golly gee...
I just don't know! (Will have to rely on BD for that one.)
It wasn't a division, but I don't know how blushing my littl'un was...
BD - any idea if I've a blushing dancer? (I won't even comment on my shades of pink if caught dancing!!)
