    Pretty but looks more like a fairrieanum to me.

    Thanks for your comments Yew Sung and Dr. Zainal. This is my first paph. I am not quite sure if it is insigne now. could be another labeling mixup from the vendor i suppose. I will check

    Most probably a mixup in the labelling. I've had it happen to me numerous times. Looking at it again I 'm pretty sure it's not an insigne. But I must congratulate you on blooming a fairrieanum as it is almost impossible to bloom it in the lowlands with its cool to intermediate requirements.

    The only species that can be is Paph fairrieanum. Probably can't rule out some very fairrieanum influenced hybrid, but it clearly isn't Paph insigne. Nice success with your first Paph though.

    Yes it is growing in S/H. thus for looks ok . I have about 5-6 paph. species that are in S/H and all of them are doing ok.
