Cool Paph Iko Iko x Paph Stachels Legend

I bought this paph in spike on May 17 at the Paph-a-polluza Sale and that spike bloomed on June 6.

Now a new growth has matured and flowered. I love this one too! I'm sure they have a technical name but I just call them eyelashes, this one has great eyelashes.

BTW- This was taken with my Samsung S4 phone. I figured out how to capture beautiful, sharp images with it.

That's a very nice photo of a lovely paph! I'm leaning towards more Paphs and Catts and less of the Oncidium alliance (I love 'em, but just have trouble getting them to grow well, maybe when the ones I have are ALL thriving, I'll look for more). I probably have enough Phals, unless I see one that really calls my name, or one of my friends gives me another one!

The Samsung S4 has a 13 megapixel camera.

My regular digital camera is 7.2 mp's.

The megapixels notwithstanding, it is a stunning shot. More to do with technique than sheer pixel power. My DSLR is 24 megapixels and without an anti-aliasing filter to boot and I am sure I couldn't have done better! Again well done., Harvey.
