    Default Cypripedium Emil

A primary cross of parviflorum and calceolus, I have it in semi-hydroponic culture, and this has the scent of honeysuckle, which amazed me, as it is the first slipper I've ever seen with any scent at all.

Even though I am a full house, I think I am going to look to buy one of these.

    Lovely!

Terp - purchase them in the fall, keep them bare-root in the refrigerator crisper for winter, and pot 'em up in the spring.

Fair warning though: I had a very large, specimen Cyp. reginae in the fridge two winters ago. My wife thought it was something that had gone bad, so it went into the trash. So much for that $150....
