    Default Paph Kiwi Charm

I picked this one up three years ago this month. How much fun that I still have it and its blooming so beautifully! I think this one is very photogenic - loving the new camera I got last winter too!

I'm glad it survived your care! It is rewarding you now! Lovely, hairy bloom!

Some orchids I have found just love the camera! They show well and light up in the lens. My Brassavola nodosa does it too! The white just jumps out at you!

Those are stunning Carol. Yes a new camera is great to have, the only draw back is the fact you now have to re-take all the photos you already have in your collection, something to look forward too!!

At least all the ones I still have the plants thriving... When I do lose a plant, I enjoy its pictures going on. This guy, with his colors and textures seems to like the camera, as I said earlier. My very white Phal Sogo Yukatian is a bear to photograph, gorgeous big white flowers always seem to wash out in pictures. I liked the picture of it I took outside today, but am a bit disappointed when I shrunk it down to post it.

Nicest thing about the new camera is that I can set it on "macro" like I did for these pictures and look for the little red focus dots, when they are in the right place, I click and the picture is perfect most of the time. I take 2 or 3 and hope - I can't really see through the little viewfinder if its focused or not, just glad I can see to frame it. Then I put the best ones in Window's Paint, crop any extra junk around the edges and shrink them down to fit and off they go! I get the digital SLR quality and its almost as easy as a point and shoot.
