Some people say this isn't a windowsill orchid...to that I say it just depends on how big your windowsill is! LS about 3 feet with leaves nearly 3" wide (it gets much bigger if you grow it in a greenhouse). Only 4 flowers (2nd blooming), but will get 6 or more on fully mature, well-grown plants.

Slight spicy fragrance during the day, as like most other coryopedilums. No hint of the honeysuckle fragrance that kolopakingii is supposed to have.

If you really like compact plants, kolopakingii is a nice one to try. After speaking to the hybridizer, I found out that the kolopakingii used for this cross is currently sitting in a huge tub with a LS of 6+ feet! (per growth!)

    Jason,
That is absolutely gorgeous, breathtakingly beautiful!!! How many more adjectives can I use? It is indeed a royalty member of the paphs!

I have put in the order for another Bel Royal with a much respectable grower for this amazing plant!
    Cheers. Hoa.

Really nice! Bums me out that mine hasn't spiked this season. The two unbloomed growths are too young yet...

Very very beautiful brown and golden colors
I think that the colors are in harmony with the spicy fragrance
