I have that sort of issue with my last Phrag that hasn't bloomed for me yet. I bought it as one thing on-line. WHen it arrived I failed to look at the label. When I did I found it was not the Phrag I ordered. This one also was more expensive than the one I ordered but now I don't even know what the diff is between them. It has taken off in its growth since I moved it back to sphag. If you can't do s/w well due to water quality, I don't recommend anything other than sphag for their media.

As soon as it shows any decline, I would move it into sphag. I never let mine dry out. I pass them many times a day when I am in the house so it is easy to stop and give them water daily. The last one I mentioned that hasn't bloomed, has grown 4 new leaves lately. So I am hoping the one coming out now will be a spike.

Beautiful! I don't have the nerve to try a phrag. Very long work days at times of 20 hours. I'm so afraid they would die.

Beautiful blooms Harvey! I'm hanging in. I am learning a lot, just long work days that are usually fairly good. Doesn't leave much time to study for our test that is coming up. Right now I am helping to manage patients in the hospital and every 4th day it's our job to admit all of the patients from the emergency room. I enjoy explaining things to patients but I don't enjoy feeling like I d
