    Hello Philippe:
    Congrats on flowering this species. My rothschildianum is in flower at this time and the flowers last over a month and a half. It is my second flowering and the flowers last alot longer and the plant has a total of 6 growths measuring about 35 inches in leafspan. The first time it bloomed in 2004 the flowers lasted only three weeks. Both time the plant flowered with 4 flowers and they measure at 11 inches from petal to petal tip.

    I do not know parents but by memory, it must belong to the same series as roths Furuyama come from. I have to confirm the information with the salesman ...
