I love the pretty, buttery yellow. You seem to have quite a few paphs in bloom. What is your secret?

With about 50 mature paphs it is not hard to have a few in bloom. I grow most of my paphs under fluorescent lights, but the east and north exposure windowsill paphs also bloom freely. I keep them watered and disease free. The medium I use is fir bark, perlite and New Zealand moss chopped fine. That doesn't mean I have not killed a ton of orchids since I started growing 35 years ago!
