    Default Finally a bloom

Was starting to think that I cannot bloom a paph. I seem to grow them fine. I purchase mainly seedlings and have been convincing myself they must not be mature. Paph Nike's Dream x Paph glaucophylum finally bloomed. I snapped a bad picture of it on my way out of the door to get to work. Now if only my Paph delenatti would bloom. I have had it since 2014 and it was supposed to bloom within 2 years. Name: image.jpeg

Looks very nice. It is a sequential bloomer and blooms from the same spike for a few months,.

Very pretty! Maybe its just me but I've found that if the grower is saying the plant will bloom in three years, that is a bare minimum. Odd's of an earlier flowering are probably a lot better in a greenhouse.

Let's hope. At least most of the paphs have beautiful foliage to enjoy when not in bloom.
