    Interesting. Second photo looks like a face. Are those things scented?

    Thanks. It is the tallest spiked Phal in my collection. I have never detected a fragrance on this one. IOPSE says no fragrance.

    A small piece of advice - worth all you're paying for it: it needs more water on a regular basis. Those leaves should be more erect.

    My experience is that as soon as a growth completes it blooming, the leaves lay down and the new growths are the only erect leaves left. They grow erect until they bloom then lay down..

    I definitely have low humidity. But it is like clockwork on the flat leaves. So I thought it was normal for this species.
