    Default Phrag Noirmont & friends

This is the first time i,ve bloomed this.
Both parents are 4N & this year the flowers are over 5" wide ,
a lot bigger than last year.
It has been blooming for a few months but i waited until i could take a piccie in natural light.

Next piccie has Phragenstein @ the back of the g/h , Paph Pinocchio var album.
Spikes on Phragenstein are 5 foot for the little 1 & 6 foot for the larger , i knocked the 2 flowers off the bigger spike getting it into the g/h but new ones are growing.Just 4 flowers on the other spike
Paph Pinocchio var album has been blooming on the 2 taller spikes for over 16 months(the smaller 1 for about a year) , plenty of new growths so i,m leaving the spikes to keep flowering.

Note P.Noirmont is on a box.

Pretty amazing, what these plants can do when they're mature.

Spike on Phrag Noirmont is 52" high , the 6th flower is just opening & is a much darker colour.Probably because of the change in conditions(from growroom to g/h).I.ll update with a new piccie in a few dyas.

Here is what the new flower looks like with the change of conditions.

Piccies taken @ night with flash & no supplemental lighting.
