Default Phrag IQ #8 (I think)

I recently bought this plant in bud, but am delighted with the flowers as they are much more attractive than the photos I had seen. She is a primary cross, with a yummy fresh peach/apricot fragrance.

Big Guns - PM me with guesses, let the newer members and growers have a real shot at figuring this one out.

For those who want to try - - you can post a question about parentage or family here and I will answer it - or you can post your guess.....

Hint #4 (there are 3 above) It may not be as obvious as you think!!!

Hint #5 - something you need to know - the blooms JUST OPENED, they may not have their true final form... I just couldn't wait...

It's gotta have Phrag. schlimii in it becasue of the pink, right? Is it phrag Sedenii? (Phrag. longifolium x Phrag. schlimii)

You are right on with the schlimii - - but it is not crossed with longifolium. It's a cross you don't see very often.... 'She' is opening well, the flowers are becoming a bit more pink overall, with peach overtones. The pouch is not quite so pink as a peach/pink...

I thought I was wrong because of the flower shape... I think it is crossed with Phrag. lindleyanum var. sargentianum to make Phrag. Coral Jewel now. Not sure I might be wrong again. Is it crossed with Phrag. caricinum? The leaves look too wide for Phrag. caricinum I think.

Schlimii x sargentianum would be my guess. I'm only saying it here, since Smartie's already guessed it.

Well that was a big, fat hint! Also makes sense with your other hints. I actually had this one, but she never bloomed for me, before I croaked her. Yours is lovely, though!

The problem is many of schlimii crosses have girl names ... So which one? Maybe we should wait until other features of the flowers become apparent upon further maturation? Hehhehee!
    Cheers. Hoa.
