I guess it does pay off to buy those 'we lost the tag' specials occasionally!

Cute blooms, Diane! And I did not even know this thread is a paph IQ but you guys are so quick on getting it! I am amazed!

But how low can they go on these paphs? Gee.. $4.25? Or are you sure that you are not mistaken it for one of those items that you bought at supermarket? Heheheheeeee

    Cheers. Hoa.

I saw a Paph Helvetia yesterday that looked very similar to Honey. It's chamberlainianum x philippinense. I got some pictures. I'll probably have time to get them posted tonight. I'm curious to see the two side by side.

    Default Paph Helvetia

This is a Paph Helvetia, which is chamberlainum x philippense. It was hard to get a sharp picture, because the spike was moving in the air slightly.

If you look at it side-by-side with Diane's their darned similar.

very intriguing, I agree that it still could be Helvetia and you can't be 100% sure it's Honey. I still favor Honey because of the very greenish cast to the dorsal, relatively fewer stripes (primulinum does not have stripes on the dorsal) and the soft pastel pouch...although for sure chamberlainianum has a greenish dorsal as well and that Helvetia has a very light colored pouch that doesn't have any trace of the pinkish/magenta of chamber.

I'll see if I can get a better shot from the resident shutter bug. It's hard to see the detail in my photo. There were so many I wanted to snap, there wasn't time for galmour photography (and it was so beastly hot, fans were running everywhere!)

The NOID plant does not look like the Helvetia. There are some similarities there but I still can see lot of differences.
BTW, cute Helvetia that you posted, Julie!
    Cheers. Hoa.
