    Default Paph. Avalon Mist

    A purpurascens Avalon Mist. In the back there is a unregistered Maudiae-type hybrid with a terribly long name, which I will not reproduce unless you really want to know, and an Ilonara Orchidom Crisp Choice.

    I like how the the Maudiae Paph looks kinda frowny in this pic, especially compared to the overwhelming cheery-pink-round-cuteness of the Avalon Mist.

    Avalon Mist = (primulinum x Pinocchio)
    Pinocchio = (glaucophyllum x primulinum)

    They are both so beautiful that I couldn't choose and since I can't seem to grow them I guess I will never have to pick.

    I'm with you Cin! They are very pretty, but for some reason I can't even bribe paphs to bloom for me!

    Wow, that is a really great photograph! I love the colors & of course the pink paph! It would be really cool if the Avalon Mist had the stripes of the maudiae one. Think anyone has crossed something like that?

    Cheers!

    I don't believe it--I can bloom something the Floridians can't! The orchid gods have smiled on me!

    Seriously, though, what I like about this picture is the way the plants complement each other. Neither of them, no matter how charming, would look as neat by themselves. (I really Avalon Mist!)
