Default Slippers aren't just for feets...

I had an idea about starting a thread that allows us to each showcase what we do with slippers in bloom...

In my case... I like to wake up to the sight of a tropical setting...
so this is the closest I could come to recreating the real deal...

It takes some practice to actually use the mirror for it's original purpose...
it's so easy to get distracted...
    Regards... Scotty.

LOL, I love the mirror! I'm sure that's just for the plants - I have one here too! Wink, wink!

    Thanks for the nice comments...
the upper left and upper right are two different clones of Phrag Noirmont...
the red-orange at the left center is an as yet un-named cross...
    [Rosalie Dixler x caricinum]...
the peachy-orange is a selected clone of Phrag besseae...
the phrag at the right center is Franz Glanz...
the cochlopetalum Paph at the bottom is liemianum 'Sierra Vista' AM/AOS...
the little white guy at the right bottom is a self-portrait...hehehe...
    Regards... Scotty.

    Very nice,
soon we will start renovating our house and since I don't have a chance to get a green house I also thought that the bathroom could be a good alternative.....I hope to get a tropical look like yours....pretty!

Of course I will try to post pics when is done!

    Ciao

Really nice set up! I can totally imagine waking up to something like that... it'd certainly make me look forward to brushing my hair or shaving, etc etc...

Beautiful slippers and set up, Scotty! Now just fill your sink and float a few lily pads! Seriously, the reflection makes the garden seem twice as big. Very nice idea.
