Paph lowii"Dragonfly" x paph lowii"#4-97A"
Individual leaves are over 17" long but very upright , single growth.
Just the 1 flower out @ the moment but this is the most belligerent spike i have had for a good while. When i try & tie the spike it bends @ the tie so i have let it grow "free" & the buds are facing all over the place.
to Ania's comment. It is also a beautiful photograph- well proportioned and balanced with clear focus on the bloom! BRAVO!
Nice big spoons on those petals - lovely!
I can see why some call it a mule's ear slipper!
Gorgeous, yes! Belligerent, No! Just a lady orchid with a mind of her own!
She knows which is her best side!
Hey, I think I saw that costume in Cirque de Soleil! It looks like it's dancing - beautiful, striking bloom. Thanks for sharing.
Woa!!! Is it paph-blooming dogs and cats at your place?
Another stunning paph!
