Oh, I am sorry. I didn't mean to neglect your question. Yes. I will describe my conditions. They really aren't all that fancy--just my dining room. My plant had two little growths (the biggest was 4" or so, the other just a bitty guy) when I got it. Now it has four--the smallest is probably only 2"). I have all my orchids in a south facing window with a sheer curtain on the hot/really bright days. (In the winter, I often pull it back so that the orchids get some light.) I use Dyna-Grow 7-9-5 fertilizer at a rate of 1/4 tsp per gallon. Occassionally, because I am watering it with phals or phrags during their bloom/bud season it will also get some Dyna-Grow 3-12-6 bloom fertilizer. Oh, the plant is potted in a plastic pot in coconut husk. I grow this plant with my phals, but a little closer to the window, so it gets slightly more light.

I don't know if that answered your questions or not--I hope so.

Sadie, it's a great species! Those unwinding petals are a wonder to watch - there's a reason dear PoP loves them so!

Enjoy yours, and keep us posted!
