Default Paph (philippinense 'Angel Wings' x philippinense 'Easter Parade')

Only orchid people will understand the thrill of seeing this baby spike. I got it as an ity-bity seedling in the Spring of 2005 and now, four growths strong it is spiking! Hoorah!

If you tell a non-chid person that you have waited nearly two years for a flower, they'll think you are crazy . . . .

Here she is Paph (philippinense 'Angel Wings' x philippinense 'Easter Parade')

I just got one of these. Mine is about 8" across and has a new growth! Could you describe your growing conditions?

Just starting to open -- it sort of looks like it is praying.

It seems to be taking a long time to open -- probably the WEEKS of grey, yucky weather. Bleh!
