Very nice, Jason! How many BS roths do you have?
If you ever get tired of it, I'd be glad to take it off your hands!!!
julie, this is my only roth actually...I had a selfing of 'Rex' that I bought in 1995 that grew so slowly that I sold it a few years back. I haven't ruled out getting more though, but they'd have to be at least NBS
steven, people like to say that there are no bad roth hybrids, and they would almost invariably be correct (not sure the complex x roth line has been a success, but just about every other one has been). liemianum & glaucophyllum have produced Transdoll and Vanguard, if memory serves me correctly, both of which are impressive plants. SS x roth gives you Gary Romagna, which tends to have the petal stance of roth but with a little philippinense influence. you are certainly welcome to pollen for any project, although I would advise setting a pod only on fully mature and strong plants! (which is why I'm not setting a pod on this one, which is just a single growth).
if all goes well I think the new growth should bloom in maybe 3 years?
