It's cool to see the long-petaled slippers sort themselves out! How about an update, Steven?

Well, McImpatient, here you (and everybody else) go.

I'll try to get it more clear next time.

Steven, those are both great shots! I cannot wait to see all the blooms open at the same time. BRAVO!

    Cheers,

Time for an update on the Swithin. Hope you like the pics.

The third bloom is still not quite fully open but it is very close.

The pic of the single flower shows the 8" petals! I don't know how that compares to other Swithins, but it is sure longer that I ever expected.

Those blooms are fantastic, I have to admit, I had never really thought much of paphs before, but since joingin this forum the things I have seen (Ignorance really is bliss - at least in terms of my bank balance)

Congrats on the blooming, it really looks great - I just can't believe those little buds held all that detail inside!

The dark side of Paphs compelling can be. Beware, young Orchid Walker, hard to resist this tempation is. Lure you it will try. Resistance futile is!

Oh...wait - darn! There I go mixing my Sci Fi metaphors again... Sorry!
