Thanks for posting! Hope you like it! I love this species!

It looks like the two bottom flowers have grown some since I shipped it to you and the petals have grown longer and more twisted! Keep me update with new pic of the flowers. I want to see how they turn out! It's the first flowering for that plant. Take good care of it!

I don't see the "blue" on the pouches! Lighting? Camera?

Hard to see - here try this one. I didn't think it was a great pic so didn't post at first....see the three "stripes" of blue on the bottom bloom?

Of course I will take good care of it! This morning the top bloom was almost fully open and petals starting to twist more.

Oh, yes I do see that! They look even more beautiful in person, don't they?
Mine are now much bigger and even more "bluish" and the petals longer and more twisted.

I know you take very good care of your babies!

They don't get as big as roths but in time with many new growths they CAN become very large specimen sized plants and they look spectacular in bloom on many spikes simultaneously! My first dianthum is slightly bigger with more growths than the one Heather has.

Pete, in that last picture, the top bloom, can you see where the little petal got maybe bent in shipping? it is the far petal. Hopefully it will be ok...

I hope it is OK! If it did get bent from shipping, then there's nothing you can do to fix that. Wait and see if it straightens itself out IF the tip is not bent from shipping.
