    oh, I know... not another one...

    but I thought, it's been awhile since I've shared any of my orchids, and this is a first for me considering the other bessae's I have just don't want to live...

    anyways, let me introduce to you...

    Phrage bessae 'Orange' x 'Red'

    Thanks for the kind words folks... this one seems to be stronger than the other two which sends out new growth and kills the old one... so doesn't ever get strong enough to flower... this on the other hand has managed to grow bigger and bigger leaves to the point where it now supports this lovely flower...

    one thing I'm not sure of though is whether this plant only sends out the one flower or is this a sequential bloomer? I can't seem to see any more buds...

    outstanding color! it is sequential, so give it some time. young plants may only give you 2-3 but that will increase on larger growths.
