It is a beautiful baby! Nicely done. Getting one from seedling to spiking is an accomplishment to be proud of. She / he is beautiful.

Oh, congratulations!!! That is a beautiful, beautiful bloom. You mentioned that you'd gotten it as a seedling; how long have you had it before it bloomed?

Would a Phrag grow on an eastern windowsill, on a humidity tray of rocks? Its a rather bright window...let me know what you think; you've inspired me to get one!

Wish I could remember 3 years I think ? Becky it is a big plant with tall bloom spike . It gets about the same light as my Catts. If your east window gets direct sun in the am . and bright the rest of the time it might be ok , you could add an over head compact flour. light if not enough . They are on a top shelf west side of the green house with a 4 foot 2 tube shop light over them . Check out one of the Hanne Popow crosses they are small growers and bloom early . Thanks to all for looking . Gin
