Default Phragmipedium wallisii

Here is my multigrowth Phragmipedium wallisii. It is not in bloom now. LS is about 24-26".



Here is a pic of the exact plant in bloom last year on two spikes.

Hahaha!!

Hey, Mr. Clean would be mighty proud of that nice white inside pouch! So, the spots inside the Penn's pouch come from the Grande parent? I don't see any on these. Beautiful photograph, Jason!

Yes, my Grande has spots inside the pouches, from the longifolium and caudatum parents.

I'm almost certain wallisii has spots inside the pouch as well--they just don't show up very well from the front. You can see hints of speckling on the pouch though--light brown.
