Pat, is someone sending you these pictures or is this a second one that you are showing?
    Steven,

No, these are from my collection, and my pics of them. At the moment, I have 3 plants of Paph. kolopakingii in bloom; the typical form, a f. topperi (which is also a semi-alba), and this true albino... I only have one more plant of Paph. kolopakingii to bloom...

Bel Royal is a beautiful hybrid! At 28" leafspan, it should spike by now!

Thanks very much! That's because there was only one known plant Mine is #2...

It will be selfed, and then outcrossed onto one (or both) of the other Paph. kolopakingii in bloom... it will definitely make new "albino-influenced multifloral" lines, like Paph. Bel Royal...

nice! how about crossing it with philippinense album? (not sure if that Mt Toro album cross ever panned out or if they all turned out colored, but Temptation album would be mighty impressive...)

I don't have Paph. philippinense f. album in bloom, but do have a Paph. philippinense var. roebelenii blooming... I will have to think more about the use of the albino kolo pollen...

Paphiopedilum I've got a nice phil album in sheath, pollen is all yours if you want it. if you're interested in setting a pod on my plant it's probably strong enough (although I would have no idea what to do with the pod though).

Thanks for the offer! That is a spectacular alba form! I will definitely have to think about everything, but that will be priority in hybrids We'll see how things work out, because I will have to send you preserved pollen to re-create Paph. Mt. Toro... thanks again!

PS: Every piece of pollen and available flower is being mapped out for possibilities... need selfings first...

Including the one you have posted a photo of, so far 4 have bloomed in the U.S. There also exists one in Brasil, unrelated to the US clones and there is one in Japan that is unrelated to the Brazilian clone and the US clones.

I just received multiple reports of the albino kolo from XPGDL. I believe that the count is now up to around 8 or 9 true albinos, but forgot to post.
