    Paphiopedilum parishii is one of my favorite species, hailing from northern Thailand, Shan Plateau in Bhutan, and southwestern YunNan, China (云南).

    Hey, I actually think that is a pretty neat looking pic. I really like the composition, which is the hardest part.

    I love this species, Pat! I have a Veronique Bert (parishii x primulinum) which I keep staring at, willing to bloom, but I think it's not catching enough mojo. It wants more loving...

    Still, it's great to enjoy your blooms from afar!

    Very cool bloom, Pat! The composition in your photo is great. Add more light or leave the shutter open longer to get a brighter and less tungsten-yellow colored photo.
