That's a descriptor I usually see applied to Bulbophyllums.

    Very nice, Fren.

It is neither. You are thinking of bulbo's (not sure of the correct, complete spelling.)

    Thanks ,

I was also not into the toilet bowl look (so I got Magic Lantern instead of micranthum) but I guess I grew into it. I also own a micranthum too now, so I can expect a toilet bowl from it...

Well Phrag caudatum can smell like stinky socks or something. I haven't bloomed my own so I haven't smelled the stink, and the ones I have seen in show did not smell (so I think the smell would be quite faint anyways).

Oohhhhh, yes.... I knew there was a reason I didn't like bulbo's... besides some not-as-attractive blooms...

And... caudatum can smell like socks? *checks recent order* Ok, that's not the one I got. LOL! How about Phrag Eric Young 4N x Sorcerer's Apprentice 4N? Any scent - I'm guessing no? (I haven't looked to see if it's a named cross yet.)
