This guy finally opened yesterday. Label says Paph callosum 'Jack' but the general consensus is that it's mis-labelled and most likely a charlesworthii hybrid of some sort, possibly Paph Rosita (charlesworthii x callosum). I'll never know for sure but I'm still pleased that I got a slipper to bloom 'from scratch' so to speak
I like the coloring on this one, no matter what the correct name is. Congrats on the bloom!
Good growing. Name?? I'd probably call it pinky and the brain.
good growing!! Congrats!! Definitely a charlesworthii hybrid...possibly with callosum
Very handsome! Judi
Excellent job, and beautiful blooom!!
I think this callosum 'jac' confusion has happened in the past before in UK:
very interesting how dominate the charlesworthii is in both blooms, makes me want one too
WOW What a beauty. Congrats to you!
very nice bloom, definitely consistent with the charles x callo.
