    Default Phrag schlimii 'Wicox' AM/AOS

    Should be Schlimii
The story behind this one is that it was awarded as a schlimii but it is not, it is most likely a Cardinale

I love the color! That is a great photo too. The dk green contrasts so nicely with the pink and white bloom.

    Cheers,

nice! ran across an article once (which I've since misplaced) that basically said Sedenii/schlimii 'Wilcox' or 'Birchwood', or Cardinale 'Wilcox' or 'Birchwood' were all the same plant, and most likely a Cardinale.

The 'Birchwood' clone of schlimii is also most likely Cardinale. There should not be Cardinale 'Wilcox' or Birchwood' on a tag for the awards were to mislabelled schlimiis. Athough they are most likely Cardinale the tags should not be labelled that way due to those clonal names given to the awarded "schlimii"
