    Default Paph venustum

This one is always cool. I love the veins in the pouch on this paph. I always think alien- hehehe... Anyway, again another one that bloomed up under some taller plants. I moved it out and hopefully it will open up a bit more now. I took this shot at an upward angle to get the inside of the dorsal. It looks like this one just opened yesterday or maybe the day before. I hope you like it. It is a species from India.

I agree, the veins on the pouch are wonderful, and I love the spots.

Neat coloration in that venustum, Bruce! Lots of pink and no hints of orange. She she must be a she if she's named after Venus is a beaut!

    Congrats!

gorgeous! I wish venustum were more commonly available, it is a wild paph and (if I remember correctly) the first one of the genus to be described!
