Default Paph. dianthum and Paph. Mele Moon

I'm guessing that Paph. dianthum is not that common in cultivation, but I could be wrong. I've had this one for almost a year and a half and bought it as blooming size. It has been an almost painfully slow grower but worth the wait. The Paph. Mele Moon I can not take credit for since I bought it in bloom about three weeks ago. The blooms are fairly large on this one, measuring about 11cm both ways.

both are wonderful... i find dianthum so hard to get going if it's disturbed but once it is settled down, you can get quite a lovely display with it...

the Mele Moon is lovely too... i love the colouration... who ever said green was green... so many beautiful shades and the sheen on this adds another dimension

I love dianthum, I really need to get one. They aren't that expensive right now from certain places.

Even though it is not in spike, it is Coryanthes speciosa. I'm hoping it will bloom for me this coming summer. Thank you for asking Zainal!

Gorgeous greens! Drat - now I'll have to expand my Maudiaes to include the green-leaved paphs. Adding the dianthum to my wishlist. Well done!
