I thought it might still be available in print, so tried the net - but was offered a copy at about US$200.. - it seems I could sell my library and if this is typical make 500% profit. The problem is, what should I do then ?

The answer is , I think, when you see a new book upon a subject which interests you - buy it !

I deeply regret not buying one particular volume of Withners great series on the species Cattleyas and their allies ; I have six of the seven volumes, but the missing one is only available at 5 times the original selling price, from "antiquarian" booksellers and I can't bring myself to buy it.

I've never seen this, so I went scouting the net for others - in my opinion, yours is by far, the best of what I found and I found many.
I had intended on sticking to Phrags.,but I'll be looking for one of these.
