Maybe you would like to do an article on using rockwool as a potting medium? There are threads here on OrchidTalk discussing it as part of potting material used, but I do not recall anyone using it exclusively.

I'll hunt those threads down.

I still have a few of my older plants that are potted in rockwool.
It never breaks down....
