I got an orchid as a present today (people realized I am an orchidnut so they give orchids as gifts)
So, it has one unusual flower
I wonder if it is an isolated accident or it will have similar blooms in the future too
here is the photo- I call it conjoined twins bloom( one can see I am a doctor)
Very unusual I like it!
congratulation for the beautiful present Andrea
My guess is that it is probably just a 1-time quirk, but only time will tell. Meantime, you can enjoy twice the beauty!
If it does that every rebloom that would be cool...if not, it is still a very pretty color. Win win....
Very interesting phal bloom.
Pretty cool! I'd love to see how it blooms next time 'round. Great color!
I have a similar bud. I hope the picture comes through, its my first post!
Its so unusual I thought I had double vision
in yours some of the petals seem to have fused
mine has all the pettals, 10 to be exanctly
I heve seen today in the shop other degrees of fusion
so I think loke in real life conjoined twins, there are multilple possibilities of conjoinig
welcome to the forum
Those are interesting.
