    Default Milt. Spectabilis "Royalty"

This is not my favorite orchid. Matter of fact, I'm not sure I like it at all. It looks good in the photo, but make-up , lighting, and camera angle can make *any* orchid look nice.

I wanted to add: those lovely pleated leaves are not my doing. That is how I got it.

I have to agree with you about it not being a favorite of mine either, but this year I have 5 flowers and that makes a huge difference.

Slipperhead, that is just the perspective of the photo you are seeing. The flower is 3.5" high by 2.5" wide. My whole plant is 12" high, well, actually more because it is mounted and climbing.

    Default Photo perspective

I knew the camera perspective trick!!!! Heck, I'm a fisherman!

Who hasn't seen a photo of a fisherman without holding the fish out toward the camera to make it appear HUGE??!!

Just funning and seeing who would bite! :lemmetell

Nope, not fragrant. I *thought* it was supposed to be, but it isn't. If it had a fragrance, I might like it a little more.
